PS3 To Cost Twice As Much As Xbox 360

According to Merrill Lynch, because of the cost of hardware components, the ps3 may cost twice as much as the xbox 360 by the end of 2006. The report includes estimated breakdown of hardware costs by component at the time of launch and 3 years from now.

The new figures show that the majority of the cost are from the Blu-Ray drive, and the cell processor which total $580 alone. After three years, the manufacturing cost of the two will drop to $180 total.

Several months ago the same team released data which compared the cost of the ps3 to the xbox 360 (see below). As you can see, the estimated costs of Blu-Ray and the cell Process have increased dramatically.

On the cost of goods side, Merrill Lynch believes that the cell processor will initially cost $230 to make which is more than the Xenon CPU which currently rings in at $100.

Though price reduction will eventually drop to approximately $30, both the Nividias RSXand the ATIs cost about $70 each to produce.

iSuppli, a well know Market researcher, did a break down on the cost of all the components used by microsoft in the xbox 360 and found that the cost per console is roughly $525, or almost $400 dollars less than thn the Sony ps3.

The results of the report are based on the assumption that Sony will have to sell at a loss due to the estimated costs of hardware. However, if Sony is willing to be aggressive on pricing with ps3, the report concedes that many of these numbers are likely to change.

The addition to this defensive style is a central defender who can control the play from the back line.
This defender could also be an attacking player who will feed through balls to the striker. In addition to this the play maker will help create and initialze an attack from the defensive edge of the mid-field.
It can be thought that this player is also a mid-field player when the attack is mounted.

This team has this formation of positions in order not to lose.
They do not want goals scored against them and are usually willing to have a single goal scored for them and will to play for a draw, albeit 0-0.
It is also possible that their goalkeeper is not the "best" in the league.

It is possible however that this team has also been set up to play a strong attacking team.
This would mean that the coaching staff has done their homework and scouted the opposition.
All in all this team is more prepared to defend as opposed to attack.
This team is an opportunistic attacking team and will usually attack against the run of play.
This happens when the opposing team has made a mistake.

This system and idea can also produce and utilize the positions and concepts known as "wing back".

The two inside midfielders are supposed to be the "play makers". These are the individuals who are responsible for carrying out the plans the coach and players have designed and used as the methods of attack and goal scoring.
These positions have traditionally played these roles. However nowadays the play making comes from anyone and sometimes all the players at any given time.
These inside players have also been more defensive in their general on field play.
This defensive idea is to stop the opposition from creating attacking options.

This team will require a midfield who is willing to strike the goal at any given time.
Usualy 2 of these players are latent strikers.
They might feel confident that the defense is solid and willing to step up into the middle third of the field.
They then work in unison with the striker/forward.

This team is usually confident of their lone striker.
The striker in this formation actually acts as a post-up player. This means that this striker usually plays with the opposing defense at his/her back.
This player will try and stretch the defense, will receive the ball to lay it back to the oncoming team-mates to close the ground/space that this striker has created.
The cycle continues until a good scoring opportunity has been formulated.

Occationally this striker will turn and attack the goal when the timing is right.
This is usually communicated to the strikers by their team-mates.
However a great striker will sense these situations based on the run of play and the opportunities that this striker has created.

Stop Golf Grip Slippage In Hot Weather By Doing This

Is there anything worse than swinging a golf club and feeling the golf grip slipping in your hands? Because the normal outcome when your golf grip slips is a terrible shot. And unless you're tiger Woods it's very hard to stop your swing when you're half way down to the ball.

I have no idea how tiger does that!

Anyway, if the weather is very hot and humid the chances of your grip slipping as you're swinging goes way up. Also, if you're playing in the rain then naturally the chances of your grip slipping as you make your golf swing go up as well.

But there are simple solutions to this problem which don't have to cost you anything. And the first solution is a dry towel.

When you play golf you should carry at least 1 extra golf towel. Ideally you should carry two extra golf towels however. And if you're getting hot and sweaty or it's raining then before and after every golf shot you should be wiping your golf grips and hands with one of your dry towels.

Also, if it's raining you'll obviously have your umbrella up so I suggest that you keep your towel under the umbrella to try and keep it dry for as long as you can. Then when your towel is not doing a good enough job then simply put it back in your golf bag and get another dry towel out.

Now here's a neat trick.

Every two or three holes simply get some sand from the bunkers (or from the little buckets they give you to put in divots) and rub some of the sand on your hands and on your golf grips. This will help to absorb the sweat and it will help you to keep a firm golf grip as you're swinging.

Important Note: If you're a women reading this you may prefer to take talcum powder with you and put this on your hands instead of sand.

So the next time you play a game of golf where it is possibly going to rain or be hot and humidor heaven forbid.both at the same time! Then make sure you take at least two towels and try your best to keep them dry. Then every golf hole or two put some sand on your hands and on your grips. Doing these little things will help you to keep your golf grip secure as you're swinging the golf club. With the success of the nintendo DS and the Sony PSP, it should come as no real surprise microsoft wants a piece of the pie.

BusinessWeek is reporting that microsoft is considering entering the market themselves, with a new multimedia device that would incorporate gaming.

Peter Moore, would not confirm such a project but did say that "any microsoft media device would have to leverage the company's most significant consumer strength, video gaming."

If microsoft were to create such a device, would it be more like an xbox handled or more of a PocketPC PDA with gaming functionality. Moore says about the xbox brand, "It can't just be our version of the iPod... I think the brand is an opportunity."

On the gaming side, Nintend's DS and Sony's PSP are at the top of the market, with both offering someting unique.

If microsoft does go ahead with just a project, they would have to decide whether-or-not it would be part of the Xbox brand. The strokes you take on the green during your golf game wind up being about 40 percent of your score. wild, isn't it? Some years ago, I was reading some self-improvement books and came upon one that was something like "Learn While You Sleep". I just tried to find it by goggling and couldn't locate the exact book. That is not important. What is important is not the techniques taught in the book, but the concept that I came away with and have held ever since. The book was about letting your subconscious train your conscience during sleep, but I found that I could convince myself of certain things while fully conscious. This is the old "talk yourself into it" concept.

I stepped back and realized that before I had made those putts, I expected that they were going to fall. The hole was huge, the ball was a bee-bee and my putter was a target rifle. If you believe you will make the putt, you will have a great chance of making that putt. If you can't find that comfort, step back and gain the confidence. If you can't get it during that round, fine, get on the practice green later and gain it. If I did this with my garage-sale putter, lack of confidence, and intermittent jeering of pals, you easily can do it.

As positive as this article is, I hate to bring in the negative. I do so only to remind you of what you have felt so many times. "I can't make this putt but I hope to get it close enough so that I have a gimmee." "It's down hill with a good bit of break; hope I can two-putt it."

I used to watch my water bill go through the roof during the hot summer months as I tried to keep my lawn green with my irrigation system. It seemed that no matter how much I watered, I couldnt keep my lawn green. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I could actually get a greener lawn by having my lawn sprinkler system on less!

In my search for the optimal time to have the lawn sprinkler system run, I came across Doug Bailey at Efficient Irrigation Resources. They explained that your lawn can only hold so much water and it just runs through the soil, carrying with it the nutrients your lawn needs, especially after you fertilize. So when your irrigation system over-waters your lawn, you could be robbing it of valuable nutrition.

There are several ways to make sure your lawn sprinkler system is delivering the right amount of water, but the most reliable is to use a sensor that measure the absolute value of the moisture in the soil and the maximum amount of water your soil can hold. How to Heal Yourself With Inner Alignment

Do you think you have the power within you to heal yourself?

Whatever healing ability you think you have is only the tip of the iceberg.

How can I say that with such confidence? Because the mind, no matter how expanded, is still not big enough to hold the infinite power that moves through the body as life force. And that life force can heal you. It wants to heal you. And for life force, healing is effortless.

So, whether you believe in your ability to heal from within or you doubt it, life force does not care. It is there, ready to fix what is broken, to balance what is off balance, to correct what is distorted, and to ease what is tangled. It is ready to heal you.

What is Healing?

Since many people mean many different things when they use the word healing, I'd like to define it very clearly for our purposes. When I speak of healing, I am talking about a journey that leads to joy. It is a journey to wholeness that is fast and sure because it travels the road of "now." It stays responsive to the uniqueness of the moment and it rides the waves of life with skill, dignity, and agility. The destination? Joyful harmonious expressiveness.

In fact, I have become so fond of the phrase "joyful harmonious expressiveness" as a statement for the destination of the healing journey, that I have created the word j-h-e or jhe as a replacement for the word health.

Why Alignment?

In order for jhe to be your experience, life force must have a clear pathway to flow through your system. The most natural and expedient way to allow life force to flow for the purpose of jhe is to bring yourself into alignment.

You are built in such a way that there are avenues of flow for this energy. These avenues exist on the physical level as well as on the energetic level.

To bring your physical structure into alignment for the purpose of healing, we have the chiropractic adjustment.

To bring your energy body into alignment for the purpose of jhe, we have inner alignment exercises and jhe sessions.

Here is an inner alignment exercise you can begin doing right now. This will set the stage for more advanced inner alignment practices you may explore in the future. Exercise:

1 - sit upright on your chair or meditation cushion.

2 - with closed eyes, feel a beam of light running vertically though the center of your body. Imagine that this beam of light also runs through the center of the earth. Adjust your posture so that you are effortlessly aligned with this silent beam of light.

3 - Now feel the horizontal surface you are sitting on. Feel the perfect perpendicular set up by the beam of light and the horizontal surface. Bring yourself into resonance with the stability of that perpendicular energy structure. Feel yourself relax into a greater upright posture with less and less effort s a result of your heightened alignment.

4 - Know that every small increment of alignment contributes exponentially to the ease with which life force flows through you. Know that every slight increase in the flow of life force exponentially expands your jhe.

5 - offer gratitude for how easy it is to come into alignment and for how abundant is the flow of life force.

This is a simple exercise that can provide you with tremendous movement if done regularly.

Never underestimate the power of your own ability to heal from within. Remember, however you understand your ability to heal, it is only the tip of the iceberg.

game developer Midway revealed in a recent job posting that they were looking for a designer for a next-gen first person shooter using the powerful Unreal Engine 3. In the job posting, Midway accidently mentioned some news on a next-gen First Person shooter in the works.

Midway will release the game for each new next gen console, the Xbox360, the Playstation 3, and the nintendo Revolution. As well the game will play based on Unreal Engine 3 technology.

Could the Nintendo Revolution be more powerful than previously expected? Nintendo has admitted that the Revolution will most likely not be as powerful as the xbox 360 or the Sony ps3, but by how much? If the nintendo Revolution can handle the Unreal Engine 3 technology, nintendo just might be holding back on us.

Historically, nintendo has been known to be very tight lipped about release dates for their new, highly anticipated products. The Revolution, is following the same trend. HYPERWRT Mission Statement is HyperWRT is a power boost firmware for the Linksys WRT54G and WRT54GS router. The goal of this project is to add a limited set of features to the last Linksys firmware, extending its possibilities but staying close to the official firmware. HYPER-WRT Installing this distribution is really a breeze with no head aches. Cool features for this distribution are:

With my old linksys firmware I was unable to VPN into my network. After I installed HYPER-WRT I had no problem. Also, I usually work off my laptop in the same area of my house and with the linksys firmware I had a Good signal according to windows. After I installed HYPER-WRT my windows signal jumped to excellent every time.

Installing HYPER-WRT was very easy, I reset my router to factory defaults, downloaded the latest HYPER-WRT firmware, connected to my routers web interface administration tab and pressed firmware upgrade. Then I browsed to the firmware bin files and pressed upgrade.

HYPERWRT turned out to be exactly what its authors intended, an easy to install, power boosting firmware. I would highly recommend using this firmware for any home or business network.

EWRT

EWRT is distributed by Portless Networks. This WRT54G firmware is packed with features meant for creating open wireless hotspots for business or neighborhoods. EWRT has many cool features: Drop bear SSH server (This provides secure access), a writeable jffs2 partition to store your content, great QOS (Quality of service), and NOCAT splash.

NoCat Splash is a captive portal which lets users connected to the wireless network receiving a dynamic IP address but all traffic is redirected to an internal web page. The webpage for EWRT just explains that this router is a wireless hotspot meant for public use and dont abuse it, users must accept the agreement or they wont have access to anything. Youre not stuck using Portless Networks web page because you can modify it for your liking.

QOS for a wireless hotspot is very important for managing how much bandwidth certain services are using. If a few users are hogging bandwidth then others will not have access to the internet thus ruining the hotspot.

Portless Networks intention was to create this router as a Hotspot in a box and they achieved this with flying colors. I was able to install EWRT through the web interface with no problems. I was able to VPN into my home network and used SSH to my Linux box. EWRT has all the latest security features such as WPA and WPA radius. I was able to use TINYPEAP as my radius server.. When I started NOCAT splash and connected to the internet I did receive an error NO data ON THIS PAGE once in a while but that could be my fault some how.

If you want to start a hotspot for your business or create free public nodes in your neighborhood EWRT is for you.

DD-WRT

DD-WRT turns your WRT54G from a cheap $60 router into a $200 dollar wireless router. It has more features then you can count so I will just go over the many highlights. Right now I am using VER. 22, VER 23 is out but I have not installed it yet. VER. 23 is a BETA release. VER 23 has a whole new web interface with many more options that I have listed below. DD-WRT also has options for VOIP.

Setup Tab Everything is pretty much the same here with the exceptions of VLANS. VLANs can divide your physical LAN into logical lans. You will want to use this to separate network resources or prevent access to resources.

Security Tab One of the best features of DD-WRT is that the VPN option actually works.

Access Restriction TAB All the other firmwares have this option but I am using DD-wrt currently so I will cover them here. If you like to share your wireless connection with others but dont want it abused you will need to set up access policies. You can block file sharing from exact applications like edonkey, you can set times to share your wireless signal, limit certain days and block websites.

application and Gamming Tab- First you have over 30 slots to configure port forwardingthats a lot of different services. Next on this tab is the QOS (Quality of Service), here you can give priority of bandwidth to certain ports and mac address.

Administration Tab If you go all the way to the bottom you will find the option for enabling WDS/connection watch dog. This service will send out ICMP messages / ping commands to your given Access points every few minutes. If the access point you specify cant be reached the router will reboot

Dhauti is a shuddhikriya which means the act of cleaning. It specifically cleans the stomach. Dhauti is the useful activity for this cleansing.

Dhauti is of three types:

Vamana-dhauti: This is the easiest of all the three types. In this process you have to drink about six glasses of water and then vomit it out by putting the index and the middle fingers in the mouth till uvula. You throw up the water, which brings along with it the impurities in the stomach.

Danda-dhauti: Repeat the above process but instead of inserting the fingers, you insert a rubber tube of about three feet in length and the width slightly more than the lead pencil. It is gulped down slowly so that one end of the tube reaches the stomach while the other end is held outside the mouth. Bend the trunk forward and this siphoning action will bring out the water from the stomach. When all the water is thrown out, bring out the rubber tube. Before using the tube, clean and disinfect it by inserting it in the boiling water for a few minutes. It is difficult for a lot of people to insert the tube without vomiting because the throat is sensitive to the touch stimuli. For them it is advisable to go for the vamana-dhauti since it is the simpler of the two. The advantage of danda-dhauti is that there is no spasm of the stomach wall and the water is thrown out very smoothly.

Vastra-dhauti: This is the most difficult but useful dhauti. Here a strip of fine muslin cloth of about three inches in width and twenty feet in length is taken. It is washed and disinfected by dipping it in boiling water for some time and rolled up. Hold one end of it between the two fingers and insert it into the mouth. Gulp it down slowly. Stop gulping when only six inches of the cloth remain outside the mouth. Take care to ensure that you do not let the other end go into the mouth. Churn the abdomen by Nauli with the cloth inside the stomach. Now remove the strip slowly by pulling out the other end of the cloth. This dhauti cleanses the stomach by rubbing itself against the inner lining of the stomach wall and removing all the impurities from the stomach.

Dhauti has a great therapeutic value. You can use it as a part of yogic treatment of disorders like acidity and asthma.

Would you walk into a restaurant you had never been to before and tell the waiter I just want some hot food, and by the way, it doesnt matter what it costs! Most people think this is ridiculous. But honestly, it is not that different when someone with years of experience as a yoga instructor decides to open a studio, but does not really want to know about the business side of things.

I know you want to share your practice with others so that they also may benefit, but please believe when I tell you that you will be able to impact many more peoples lives if you choose to learn a little about business before starting your own studio.

One of the first things a client planning to open a yoga studio will often tell me is how many years they have been practicing yoga. They go on to elaborate on the school they went to and what other yoga experience they have. I honor and admire this kind of experience and the discipline it takes to acquire it.

At the same time, its my job to point out that if they primarily want to focus on the teaching and practice of yoga, then opening a studio is probably not for them. If youre shocked, thinking What background could be better than years of experience with yoga?!, then this article is for you.

Running a business successfully involves far more than just being good at yoga. In fact, in a recent conversation with the founder/director of one of the largest and most successful yoga studios in Baltimore, she revealed that shes not even an instructor. She emphasized that she is a businesswomen who loves yoga.

Business is a lot more than just giving a service or product to a customer. It has a whole behind-the-scenes part that we dont usually see when we walk in the front door. Business is about financial projections, strategic planning, marketing, sales, budgeting, facility maintenance, hiring, sub-contractors, bookkeeping, and so much more.

If you are someone who is willing to learn about these things (and you dont need to be an expert, but you do need to have a working understanding of them), then maybe opening a studio is for you. It can be a wonderfully rewarding and fulfilling experience. It can truly be the fulfillment of a dream for many.

However, understanding what is really involved before starting out is essential to success. Here are some things to ask yourself before diving into opening a studio.

Consideration #1:

Are you willing to work long hours in the beginning? Every small business owner will tell you about the late nights and weekends spent on building a business from scratch. Its just plain hard work. But, it has great freedom as well. If youre not sure about this, consider buying an established studio, or even a yoga franchise.

Consideration #2:

Are you comfortable learning about finances, budgeting and bookkeeping? For better or worse, money is the lifeblood of every business. Without it, the business fails instantly. To succeed, you need to have a moderate handle on finances. This means knowing how much you earn each month, how much you spend, how much you owe and how much is owed to you.

It also means knowing how much youll need to earn each month to pay operating expenses (rent, electricity, etc.), payroll (paying employees) and to pay yourself (you need to eat too!). It also means projecting this for the next year, and figuring out how the studio is going to earn this much money (how many students youll need, private sessions, etc.) This kind of planning is essential for success.

Consideration #3:

Are you able to accept that business will never be entirely smooth, but rather that it is wrought with some degree bumps and potholes, and that is just part of owning a business? It is estimated that an average U.S. business faces a crisis three to four times per year. This might be a key employee quitting, an IRS audit, a major unexpected expense, etc.

In addition, there are daily hassles. An instructor is late, someones check bounced, the stereo doesnt work and so on. This is just part of business. And, as the owner, much of it will be your problem to deal with (until you grow enough to hire a manager, then someone else will worry for you). See it as a wild and exciting adventure that lets you share an amazing gift with the world, and youll be fine!

Consideration #4:

Do you have at least 50% more money available than it seems like youll need to get started? Most small businesses underestimate their expenses (and overestimate profits) for the first few years. It is rare that running any small business (at least to start with) costs what you expect. It always seems to be more.

This is because there are numerous unexpected and miscellaneous expenses. Everything from having the floor polished to paying business taxes to buying a new phone system. It all adds up. Plan ahead for this one, and you wont be surprised.

Consideration #5:

Are you willing to learn about marketing, or do you have the money to hire a professional marketer who will do this for you? I know, marketing makes you think of tele-marketers and used car salesmen. These are just poor examples of marketing, just as a Big Mac is a poor example of gourmet food, yet it is still food (technically).

Marketing simply means letting people whose lives could benefit from yoga know that you have something that would really help them. If you dont, you not only miss out on business, but you sell them short of having this benefit in their life. Imagine if you had a flat tire and were having a hard time changing it, and a tow truck was driving by, but he didnt stop because he felt it would be too pushy to ask you to pay him to help you change your tire!

People miss out on something they want and need when they dont know about the awesome experience your studio could offer them. Letting them know about this is what true marketing is.

Consideration #6:

Can you accept that while yoga may incorporate energy, spirit and flow, running a business adds a new kind of energy to the mix: money. If you believe your practice is above needing to worry about money, you may be reassured to know that you are not alone. What may be less reassuring is that very few studio owners who hold this perspective stay in business for more than a couple of years.

Perhaps in an ideal world, this would be different, but her, now, today, money is a part of our life. Like other forms of energy, money is simply a way to create change. This may take the form of having a new studio floor put in, donating to charity , or paying your phone bill.

Money is really just another form of energy. And it is the form that every business today requires to exist. We dont need to worship it, just view it as an important resource. Just as a car needs gas to run, a business needs money. I wish my car ran on something other than gas, but for the time being, I accept that this is how it works. Such is the case that a studio is a business and needs money to operate.

Consideration #7:

Are you really passionate, not just about practicing yoga, but about sharing the art of yoga with others? Running a yoga studio is about sharing your practice with others. Many of your students will probably be novices. Some will do things that make you cringe, others will make you proud to have made their mastering the art possible.

In running a studio, you will be quickly frustrated if you are not comfortable serving beginners, people who like yoga but do it poorly and people who dont take it seriously, as well as those that are a pleasure to watch practice.

Consideration #8:

Are you willing to make mistakes and learn from them? Success is about mistakes. Just as Thomas Edison tried over a thousand different materials for the filament of the light bulb before discovering one that worked, such is business.

Success is not about doing it perfectly the first time striving for this leads to mediocrity. Success is made of trying, failing and learning; then taking what you learned and doing it better the next time.

Sometimes this approach is referred to as FireAimFireAim If youre a perfectionist, running a business may be very frustrating to you. Business is very imperfect, and those who are most successful at it, and who find it most fulfilling, are those who truly understand that things just need to be good enough and not perfect.

Consideration #9:

Are you able to do this without destroying your personal life, should it fail? While no one plans for a new business to fail, and its certainly the last thing you want to think about, it does sometimes happen. Plan your divorce while you are still in love.

In other words, you need to design an exit strategy for the business in the beginning. You dont want to lose your house and have to declare bankruptcy if things dont pan out. Do your best to make sure you can personally survive even if the business does not. If you cant, then this may not be the best time to start a studio, or maybe finding a partner or investor to share the burden would help. There are many creative solutions that could work for you.

Consideration #10:

Are you willing to make a thorough business plan? I believe this is the single most important item on the list. The business plan doesnt need to be in the form a bank needs to lend you money, but it should be complete.

It is unfortunately all too true that failing to plan is planning to fail. A real business plan outlines the way your studio will operate. It defines the kind of people who will come to your classes and private sessions, it estimates how many clients and students you need each month in order to pay the bills. It is like having a map with you when you are on a long road trip.

By the way, the reason that banks want to see a business plan before lending money is because they know that most businesses that dont have one will end up failing, and they dont want to lend money if they might not get paid back. Doing a business plan isnt hard (I frequently guide my clients through this process. There are also numerous books available on the subject at your local bookstore). However you do it, make sure you have a plan.

There was quite a lot of hype last year about play station 3's revolutionary processor chip, "The cell." This processor chip was going to blow everybody's minds and totally change the way we think about video games. It would make games so amazingly realistic, you'd never be able to go back to the old systems again.

Now, the PS3 is out and everybody is still waiting for that mind-blowing gaming experience that the cell promised. Sony had said that, in particular, the cell would give the PS3 better graphics and more detail, and give it a competitive edge over the xBox 360 and nintendo Wii.

What makes the cell processor chip so extraordinary? The cell processor chip is a multicore chip, which means that it has a main processor core that controls a number of sub-processors. This design is a big improvement over regular processor chips because it is capable of carrying out several tasks at once. With the cell, each chip has several cores that control 8 sub-processors. While regular processor chips can carry out only 2 tasks at once, the cell is capable of carrying out up to 10. This means that it runs faster than 4 GHz, 10 times faster than PC processor chips. The Intel chip comes closest, running at 3.8 GHz.

What this means for gamers is that the PS3 processor chip is able to offer better graphics. The increased operating speed and multi-tasking can be used to make games even more realistic. This was the cause for all the hype surrounding the release of the gaming system with the new processor chip.

Unfortunately, many gamers feel that the cell has fallen short of expectations. Some gamers say that the XBox 360 has better graphics than the PS3. If your xbox 360 has stopped working and you are getting the 3 red light error dont panic, there is hope. With some basic tools and a decent repair manual you can fix it yourself.

You will need a set of torx screwdrivers, If you do not have a set you can pick up a cheap set at your local hardware store.

The 3 red light error means there is a general hardware failure. First thing you can try is to dis-connect everything and let your console sit for 20 minutes unplugged from the power. Re-connect everything and try it again, If you are still getting the error remove the hard drive and re-install it. Sometimes they get loose and you get a bad connection.

If that did not fix it you will need to open it up at this point. The most common failures are no video or disks will not read. Both can be repaired fairly easy.

If you have no video you can try a different video cable, borrow a friends if you do not have another one. If you still have no video but audio is working you will need to check the soldering connections on the main board for the video connector. Consult the manual before attempting this or any other internal repairs.

If your xbox is not reading the disks or getting disk errors make sure your disks are clean. After that you may have to replace the dvd drive or if you have the skills you can remove the dvd drive and replace just the pick up assembly. This is a lot cheaper than replacing the whole drive. Again consult the repair manual before attempting this.

Your other option is to send your console off to microsoft and Wait. Nothing worse than having Halo 3 and not being able to play it. I prefer to do my own mods and repairs. The console unit is very similar to your home computer, it is actually a small computer. With a little patience anyone can learn how to do there own repairs.

Once you learn about the inner workings of you game console and repair it you will become real popular with your friends when the game breaks down. This has turned into a part time business for me. Word seems to get around fast. If you want you can make some decent money doing repairs. People would much rather have someone local do their repairs.

In addition to this, students should never be harassed, due to their limitations, by a Yoga teacher. This is a clear signal to find a competent and compassionate Yoga teacher. Never stay in an abusive relationship. Life is too short to waste and to be taken for granted. Students should be able to ask Yoga-related questions during a Yoga class. Without communication, Yoga classes become militaristic exercise classes. This is fine, if military exercise is what you want; but why not take part in a martial arts class instead?

Martial arts have a wonderful physical and mental health value, but the militaristic view point is not hidden. Why would a Yoga student seek to study Yoga from a wolf in sheeps clothing? When a Yoga teacher becomes a strict disciplinarian, the ultimate goal of Yoga is lost.

First of all, Bandwidth is defined as the ability to transfer data (such as a VoIP telephone call) from one point to another in a fixed amount of time. The higher the bandwidth speed you have, the more data you can send over your broadband Internet connection.

While Rooney and DeeDee go to get juice, Moe cheats and looks at Rooney's invention - a drum machine. Then Moe worries that they are going to replace him.They go to the recording studio and Moe is still very worried. In the studio, Audio Murphy records their new video for 'I Can Dance'.

When the video is done, Bus Driver Bob picks them up. The bus became a stage for the Doodlebops before they took off for the concert, flying high under rocket power. Moe is still very worried.

At the concert hall they finally unveil the surprise. Moe admits he thought they were going to replace him. DeeDee and Rooney are quick to tell Moe that the Mighty Moe Machine was built to help him, so he can dance to his song without having to play the drums.

Today is DeeDee's birthday. Rooney and Moe pretend they forgot, but blindfold DeeDee and decorate the room. For her birthday DeeDee wrote a new song and dance, called Wobbly Whoopsy. She wants Rooney and Moe to dance wearing tutus during the concert. They say no, because it is way to girly.

Rooney bakes a birthday cake; Moe causes him to step on it. This is very frequent this episode, as several cakes are ruined, and several gifts from Rooney are also ruined.

Bus Driver Bob gives DeeDee a small version of the bus, called the Doodlebop Express. At the concert hall,Mazz gives DeeDee a red necklace. Rooney and Moe still have nothing for DeeDee, not even a card.

They decide to give DeeDee a special gift. They will wear the tutus and do her new song and dance.

Today Mazz lets Moe know that he will have a solo in today's concert. Moe is very worried about this, and doesn't want to have a solo. He goes into a trance he is so scared, and Rooney and DeeDee actually put him under the rope and for the first time, they tell him to pull it. He does. Then he confesses he is afraid of messing up during his solo.

DeeDee and Rooney spend the afternoon convincing Moe he will do fine, and they will be there to support him.

Rooney Doodle : Chad McNamara plays Rooney Doodle, who is blue, and he plays the guitar. Chad's previous performing credits include playing a Wrangler in Will Rogers Follies, shown for two weeks in and Ottowa Theater from November 23, to December 3, 1995. He was also part of the cast for Mamma Mia when it toured Canada in 2003. He is a thoughtful and cool doodlebop who is totallly Funky and Spunky. He is very good at inventing things.

Mazz Kim Roberts plays Mazz who plays the Manager for the Doodlebops.She is a known actress s, whose previous credits include guest appearances in Wonderfalls, Tracker, and Twice in a Lifetime and Soul Food.

Bus Driver Bob :John Catucci plays the Bus Driver Bob. who I think personally steals the show. He is an actor who has been performing professionally for 7 years now. While he was a member of Vanier College Productions at York University, John joined David Mesiano to form The Doo Wops, a musical comedy duo. The Doo Wops have won several awards for comedy and in both 2003 and 2004 they were the Canadian Comedy Award winners for the best sketch troupe. In addition to his comedy he has also worked with Jackie Chan on The Tuxedo, and ABC movie called Kiss My Act, and many Canadian television shows.

In an interesting article from Fool.Com entitled Why the xbox 360 Is a Loser, author Seth Jayson points out that the xbox 360 is costing microsoft big money. The article discusses how the xbox 360 is part of a much larger plan that, if successful, will eventually lead to profits.

It is no secret; microsoft is losing money and lots of it on the xbox 360. Microsofts home-and-entertainment division has already lost $293 million on $1.57 billion in sales. And as Jayson points out, the more popular the console becomes, the greater the loss.

Make no mistake: For now, and for the foreseeable future, the xbox 360 is going to cost microsoft money. The consoles are sold at a loss, and the costs of launching the new system will continue to grow. The Alexander Technique has been in existence for well over a hundred years and it has proved tremendously successful in helping people overcome back pain, breathing problems, poor posture and stress. So why is it that more women than men choose to learn it?

1. The majority of Alexander teachers are women. So what if F.M. Alexander was a man and, to be precise, a mans man? A rugged individualist with an enduring love of horses and horse racing, he developed his Technique because it was his nature to be proactive and contribute to the solution of his health problems. Regrettably, he also had his sensitive, intuitive side, and this is shared by a lot of women (and men) who have since trained in his Technique.

2. Alexander teachers are vegetarians who do yoga and want to save the planet. As a breed, AT teachers are socially responsible. Still, there are plenty of red meat eaters among them. There are also sports people, martial artists, musicians, actors, body builders, computer nerds Overall, theyre rather like the rest of the population. (They can even be sexist at times!!!.) But theyre committed to helping people maximise their sense of physical wholeness and well-being.

3. Real men prefer to tough things out. Why, when some professional output could make it so much easier for them to achieve what they want? But then, real men dont go to the doctor. They may complain, but they can put up with pain and limitations of movement. learning the AT it would mean learning different ways of thinking, and going, about their everyday physical activity. It could mean making an enduring commitment to their physical well being.

4. Real men dont do self-care. Men do health and fitness; women do self-care. In fact self-care, far from being fluffy and flaky is about broadening your vision and developing your health and fitness strategy so that it best meets your goals. The AT can help you keep meeting those goals long-term, without boredom or injury. It can also give you a broader perspective in other areas of your life.

5. Real men dont do alternative therapies. How many men do you know who are up for colonic irrigation??? In reality, the AT is not a therapy, it is a progressive re-education in the art of activity without injury. So people who learn the AT are not patients or clients, but pupils which might be even worse. Also the AT is not about getting it right (or wrong), so it doesnt foster the competitive spirit.

6. Its not macho. The AT is not like football. It is not practised in a pack, in a noisy, smoke-filled, alcohol-fuelled atmosphere. It is practised one to one, with a teacher who is sensitive to the pupils individual make-up. An AT teacher is attuned to the pupils body and encourages the pupil to become increasingly aware of how they can maximise their fitness activities while protecting their body from wear and tear.

7. You cant work off your aggression that way. Absolutely right, but it could help you reduce it, more or less spontaneously over time. The AT reduces stress levels and can make you feel good about yourself. It teaches you how to undo muscular tension. The knock-on effect is that physical the freeing up makes most people able to divest themselves of a lot of psychological tensions, surprisingly easily.

8. It could involve deferring to your partners superior judgement. There are plenty of men who slump in an armchair and say to their partner: Your postures terrible. You really should do something about it. They may even be right. But The Little Woman cant be expected to know whats good for you. She might have problems, but youre fine just the way you are. different rules apply.

9. It could make you look better. Sure, youre committed to going to the gym and working out. The Alexander Technique wont give you a six pack, but it will get you looking taller, straighter and broader across the shoulders, even leaner; so you can get a huge return on a very small outlay of effort.

10. You cant get up a sweat doing it. Unfortunately you wont need a good shower; so it wont result in extra bear hugs for your partner. Sad because sweaty men always seem to be affectionate men. Nor will you wake up the next morning with aching muscles. But you may find that you look taller, straighter, broader and even leaner. Its not a more is more thing. Its about achieving maximum results, in the gentlest, subtlest way possible.

golf is the most global sport. It is played in nearly every country in the world; its professional tournaments are contended in every continent and, unlike soccer, the Americans are pretty darn good at it. This makes for the highest profile intercontinental competition of all - the Ryder cup - whose power over the emotions of millions of transatlantic spectators is so great that it constitutes the only fortnight in a two-and-a-half year cycle that all Britons are happy to call themselves European. Its so linked to a global view, in fact, that holidays are often built around it and even travel insurance is available which gives you a cash payout for a hole-in-one.

Which is why it is a shame that the USA hosts three of the worlds four golf majors. Only the dear old open Championship (won so memorably last month by Padraig Harrington in Carnoustie) lies outside of the States. The USPGA, won by tiger Woods this week, is the fourth in the cycle, but of the three American tournaments, I think it should be the one to swap continents.

The Masters, of course, must remain forever at Augusta: the beautiful course, so well etched into the imaginations of any amateur golfer, with its history and traditions (such as the green Jacket), must forever host the years first major. And the US open - historically set-up to be the toughest on the calendar with winning scores often above par - can keep rotating around america to provide the toughest test in golf. In ceremonial magick of the Western Tradition, the hands and fingers are used for various purposes among which is to trace symbols, sigils, and signs in a consecrated space or object. They are also utilized to banish, invoke and direct forces to certain targets. In contrast to the adepts of ceremonial magic, stage magicians apply the hands to entertain audiences with their many illusory tricks. They call this, "prestidigitation," or "sleight of hand." In prestidigitation, the hands are used in various ways to deceive and mislead the eyes, and also in guiding the mental focus of the audience. The saying that "the hands are quicker than the eye," is a well-known clich used by stage magicians.

While still on the topic of entertainment, we have to consider the applause. The clapping of hands in modern usage is an expression of delight, agreement, an accompaniment to music, or appreciation for someone's stage performance. Metaphysically, it is said that ovation dispels the presence of angelic beings. These creatures of light dislike the vibrations produced by the applause. From the occult point of view, therefore, clapping is regarded as a negative practice.

In dance, gestures of the hands are essential in conveying or expressing symbolic messages and metaphorical meanings. They possess a rich vocabulary and tell non-verbal stories that evoke our primordial emotions as well as divine sensations. This can easily be seen and experienced in the hula-dance of the Polynesians. These dances and hand movements narrate various myths of the land that transports us to another world. In Hindu classical texts regarding dance, hundreds of hand gestures are mentioned, together with descriptions of the thirteen positions of the head, thirty-six of the eyes, and nine of the neck. In the Hindu dances based on the Carnatic music composition, the following mudras are used among many others: Raaga mudra, Tata mudra, Aachaarya mudra, Naayaka mudra, Vamsa mudra, Biruda mudra, Lakshana Grantha mudra, Prabandha mudra, Sthala mudra, etc.

Although the many poses of the hands in traditional dance may portray symbolical meanings, they are also functional in the sense that they modify the morphogenic or auric field of the human organism, and likewise meant to regulate the energy flow within the etheric body.

There are numerous forms of dance or dancing style prompted by the various levels of the psyche. Basically, we can classify three types of dance originating from the subconsciousness, consciousness and the superconsciousness. The instinctive or primitive dance originating from the subconsciousness is well known and is displayed by both man and beast. Most of these movements and their awkward gestures usually are mating courtship dances and the release of pent-up energies. Cultural dances evolved from these unrefined movements. They are a projection of what the psyche understands of beauty, grace, form, rhythm, etc. The third category may be called mystical dances. They originate from higher levels of consciousness beyond the reach of the conscious mind, but whose energies may be channeled through the physical body producing divine movements. Some forms of dancing are the amalgamation of all three classifications. The traditional dancing styles of Eastern countries such as India, Thailand, and Indonesia are typical of these. In these dances mudras are often formed to alter the consciousness of the dancer and indirectly affect the consciousness of the spectators. About 16 years ago the writer personally witnessed one of the traditional Javanese dances performed by a very talented young man. The dance was called "Kesadaran," or "Consciousness." We were spellbound from start to finish.

For the simply reason that musical energies have the power to possess our beings and cause an altered state of awareness making us lose a certain degree of control over our physical motor system. In the Hindu tales of the gods, as found in the Bhagavata-Purana and the Gita-Govinda, Krishna is said to have enchanted the gopis, or shepherdesses of Vrindavana with his lila dance and magical flute-playing. Each gopi was so mesmerized and distracted by Krishna that they would forget everything else around them. They would become so one-pointed that they would believe that they were the only one present before their Lord. Evidently, music has the power to cause ecstatic feelings.

The god Shiva is often portrayed in iconography in a dancing pose as nataraja, or "Lord of Dance." Representing the Consciousness aspect of Nature, why does Shiva engage in a Cosmic dance? It is because Shakti or divine energy, flows through his being and causes spasms and convulsions at first, and then rhythmic movements in attunement with the beat of the Cosmos. Amidst spiritual flames, Shiva dances rapturously, burning and transmuting all of the old outworn forms of life hindering cosmic progress.

In a microcosmic scale, a Shiva-dance likewise occurs to a practitioner of mudras. Spontaneous dancing may transpire as a result of the awakening of the life-force in the lowest psychospiritual center of the etheric body. While conducting the mudras the practitioner's whole being would often move involuntarily. The physical body might sway forward and backward, left and right or rotate on its axis. The "Tiger's Claw," the "Iron Fist," "the Drunken-style Fist," etc, all indicate the manifold lethal forms that the hands may assume to strike an opponent or to ward off blows. In contrast to this, the finer arts make use of the hands constructively and creatively to produce wondrous objects of art, and to compose and produce heavenly music. Like the Cosmic dance of Shiva, the movements of Tai chi, Pencak Silat, and other forms of self-defense have part of their origin in an awakened source of energy moving through the limbs producing involuntary movements. These movements were later noted down and turned into the various steps of martial-art discipline and training.

Some systems of metaphysical development teach us to move the body in a certain way. Though this has an effect in stimulating energies in the body it is not quite as effective in producing the desired results as when compared to the assuming of mudras that cause the energies to produce natural movements all of their own accord.

People in deep thought will often talk with their fingertips pressed together, as if unconsciously aware of the need to establish such a current to assist their concentration. If a man wishes to recall something he has forgotten, his hand will instinctively touch his forehead to contact with his fingers the source of his thinking."

From what has been written thus far, it is evident that hands play a prominent role in everyday life. This can also be seen in the way we have invented all sorts of idioms regarding them. For instance, "lend me a hand," "hands-off," "hand-in-hand," "old-hand," "hands-on," etc.

The Application of Hands in the Spiritual Path

In the Spiritual Path hands are used for the following purposes:

As an instrument of healing.

As an instrument of blessing and consecration.

As an instrument of general service.

As an instrument of teaching.

As an instrument of purification, invocation, prayer, and communion.

As an instrument of healing

Chakras, or energy-centers are to be found all over the body. There is a chakra to be found in each palm of the hand. There is likewise a minor chakra at every fingertip. The size, activity, and power of these chakras are dependent upon various factors. One of these is the purity of the subtle channels terminating at those chakra points. These subtle channels or etheric nadis convey the life-force all over the body and may be projected outside of the body through the hand chakras. The desire to serve humanity must come from the heart without any thought of self or ego. When self-comfort, self-importance, and self-aggrandizement are the sole motives of help to others then the hands are misapplied and any act carried-out is unmeritorious. Spiritual disciples should not attract attention to the fact that they are serving. The best service is done quietly in the shadows without any fanfare or advertisements. The Master Jesus explained it concisely in this manner: "Do not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing." Occultly, the left hand is used for receiving energies, while the right hand is employed for giving them.

As an instrument of teaching

Spiritual Gurus teach in various ways. They give teachings orally, in writing, telepathically, through example, symbols, drama, and by the use of gestures. The hands can convey lots of information when knowledgeably used. Symbolic movements of the hands may portray the workings of Cosmic laws and spiritual principles.
